Q. If I assign a virtual number (Calgary for example) to my NetCall box, are my calls to Calgary free?
   A. No, only calls people make to you from Calgary will be free, calls you make to Calgary will billed at the current NetCall rate. NetCall rates can be found
here.

Q. Can I have two email addresses assigned to my NetCall account so I receive my voicemail emails at two locations?
   A. No, however you can have your primary email address forward messages to a second email address, that way you will receive voicemail emails at both locations.

Q. Can I use the NetCall phone while someone is on other phone?
   A. Yes, press # and you will be in Digital Telephone mode which acts as a second line.

Q. What are NetCall long distance rates to countries outside of North America?
   A. Long distance rates for all countries can be found
here.

Q. Where do I go to see my NetCall Long Distance reports?
   A. You can login
here to see a detailed report of your calling history. You will need to login using your email address and password assigned to your NetCall account, if you do not have this information please contact us to have it resent.

Q. Can someone call me collect on NetCall?
   A. No. You cannot make a collect call to the i-box.

Q. Can I connect more than one computer to the i-box, allowing me to share my Internet connection?
   A. Yes. The NetCall Voice Gateway functions as a NAT (Network Address Translation), an Internet standard that enables a local area network (LAN) to use one set of ip addresses for internal traffic and a second set of addresses for external traffic. A NAT box (NetCall Voice Gateway) located where the LAN meets the Internet makes all necessary ip address translations.

Q. How do I make free NetCall to NetCall calls?
   A. Just dial the NetCall phone number for the NetCall customer you are trying to dial. The NetCall phone number will only work for other NetCall customers.

Q. My phone does not work after hooking up NetCall.
   A. First make sure your NetCall Voice Gateway is registered and locked on (the "Light Bulb" icon must be on solid), if not then reboot your modem, then reboot your NetCall Voice Gateway and router if you have one.

Q. Why can't I get dial tone?
   A. First make sure your NetCall Voice Gateway is registered and locked on (the "Light Bulb" icon must be on solid). You have to press the # button on your phones touch pad before you can make NetCall Digital Telephone calls. Also make sure to check your wiring is correct, check the quick installation
guide for details. If still no dial tone reboot your modem, then reboot your NetCall Voice Gateway and router if you have one.

Q. Why does my Digital Telephone call break up or cut out?
   A. NetCall works on the upstream bandwidth, if people are downloading music from your computer this could affect call quality because your available upstream bandwidth will be reduced by the amount taken for the file transfers. Ensure you aren't running a file share program on your computer such as Kazaa or Limewire.

Q. What additional equipment is required?
   A. The NetCall starter kit consists of all required hardware and cables for installation. There is no additional equipment required that you must purchase. The only additional requirements that you must provide are a high speed internet connection from an ISP of your choice and a standard touchtone telephone set. Caller ID requires a display capable telephone set.
